The Yep Plus is a compact electric SUV from Baojun, built by SAIC-GM-Wuling. It has been on sale since 2024 and comes with either four or five seats, depending on the version.
The body is short: 3996 mm long, 1760 mm wide, 1726 mm tall, with a 2560 mm wheelbase. Those figures are the same on every version, so size is not what separates one from another — this is a city-format car, as the short wheelbase makes plain.
A single electric motor of 75 kW (102 hp) drives all versions through a single-speed reduction gear, which takes the place of a gearbox: an electric motor needs no set of ratios, and drive reaches the wheels through one gear. Battery capacity ranges from 31.9 to 54 kWh, and quoted driving range is listed from 301 to 501 km.
