Baojun Yunhai云海

Baojun Yunhai is a compact crossover assembled by SAIC-GM-Wuling and built since 2024. Its price list puts fully electric versions alongside plug-in hybrids.

The line-up counts 19 versions, all of them front-wheel drive. Output runs from 78 kW (106 hp) to 150 kW (204 hp). Two transmissions appear in the price list: a CVT and a single-speed reduction gear. The hybrid versions carry a combustion engine of 1,498 cc, about 1.5 litres, to the China 6 emission standard.

Battery capacity differs sharply across the range, from 9.5 to 69.2 kWh, and the claimed driving range from 60 to 600 km. The main internal divide of the model runs along output as well: 5 versions stay below the threshold and 14 above it.

The body barely changes: length from 4,541 to 4,590 mm, width 1,880 mm, height 1,608 mm, wheelbase 2,750 mm. Only the length moves at all, and by a small margin; width and height are identical across the range. There are 5 seats. Factory prices run from 109,800 to 165,800 yuan, and 10,887 cars were sold in China over the past 12 months.
