The ARCFOX Kaola is a compact MPV for the Chinese domestic market, assembled by BAIC New Energy. The series was electric throughout; no hybrid version was ever part of it.
Production ran from 2023 through 2024. The drivetrain is the same on every version: a single electric motor rated at 120 kW, roughly 163 hp, driving through a single-speed reduction gear. The battery is a single option as well, 58.8 kWh, with a claimed range of 500 km.
The body is modest in size — 4,500 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, 1,655 mm tall, on a 2,820 mm wheelbase. Cabins were built with 4 or 5 seats, and that seating choice remains the main difference between versions.
Factory prices for the 5 trims ran from 119,800 to 169,800 yuan, a noticeable spread for cars that share one motor and one battery. The single motor sits above the 58.84 kW threshold, so all 5 versions do. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 6,242 units.
