The AITO M7 is a large crossover made for the Chinese domestic market. The series is a double one in powertrain terms: some versions are fully electric, others are series hybrids carrying a combustion engine on board.
There are two drive layouts, rear-wheel drive with a rear-mounted motor and all-wheel drive with two electric motors. Output stretches from 200 to 392 kW, roughly 272 to 533 hp, and every version uses a single-speed reducer rather than a multi-speed gearbox.
The hybrid engines differ in displacement, 1,496 and 1,499 cc, about 1.5 litres, built to the China 6 standard. Batteries run from 37 to 100 kWh, and quoted range is 200 to 710 km.
Body dimensions are not uniform either: length 5,020 to 5,080 mm, width 1,945 to 1,999 mm, height 1,760 to 1,780 mm and wheelbase 2,820 to 3,030 mm. Cabins seat 5 or 6.
The price list holds 48 versions from 249,800 to 389,800 yuan. The M7 has been built since 2022, all 48 versions stand above the 58.84 kW threshold, and 152,526 cars were sold in China over 12 months.
