Aion AION S MAX

The AION S MAX is a compact-class sedan sold by GAC Aion inside China. The range is fully electric: no combustion engine appears in any version of the price list.

Body size is fixed across the range: 4,863 mm long, 1,890 mm wide, 1,515 mm tall, on a 2,760 mm wheelbase, with 5 seats in every version. At that length the car sits at the upper edge of what the compact class usually covers.

The differences start with the drivetrain. Output moves from 100 to 180 kW, or 136 to 245 hp, while the transmission stays the same throughout, a single-speed reduction gear. Nothing else in the drivetrain changes from one version to the next.

Battery capacity runs from 53.7 to 67.9 kWh and quoted range from 505 to 610 km, so the choice inside the series comes down to those two figures.

Factory prices run from 118,800 to 191,600 yuan across 12 versions. The model has been built since 2024 and remains in production. That corridor covers the whole line-up, from the entry version to the top one.
