Xpeng P7

The P7 is a business-class saloon that Xpeng sells on the Chinese domestic market. The whole series is electric, and versions are separated by drive layout, battery capacity and output rather than by body style.

Output more than doubles across the line-up, from 196 to 437 kW, or roughly 266 to 594 hp. No stepped gearbox is fitted: a single-speed reducer passes drive either to the rear wheels, with the motor at the rear, or to all four through two electric motors.

Battery capacity runs from 60.2 to 92.2 kWh and quoted range from 480 to 820 km. The body grows from version to version: length 4,880 to 5,017 mm, width 1,896 to 1,970 mm, height 1,427 to 1,450 mm, wheelbase 2,998 to 3,008 mm. Seating is for 5 throughout.

The factory price list holds 50 versions spanning 203,800 to 429,900 yuan, and the series has been built since 2020. Against the 58.84 kW threshold all 50 versions sit above it. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 30,242 cars.
