Wuling Sunshine之光

The Wuling Sunshine is a microvan built by SAIC-GM-Wuling for the Chinese domestic market. Its layout is unusual for a passenger vehicle: the engine sits in the middle of the car and the rear wheels are driven.
Every version shares the same footprint — 3,797 mm long, 1,510 mm wide, on a 2,500 mm wheelbase. Only the roof height changes, either 1,820 or 1,835 mm. The cabin is arranged for 2 or 5 people, since a short body has to be split between passengers and cargo.
What separates one entry in the list from another is the engine and the seating, not the shell: from the outside the versions are hard to tell apart.
Two engines are offered, of 1,206 and 1,485 cc, producing between 56 and 75 kW, or 76 to 102 hp. All 7 versions remain below the 117.68 kW mark, which works out at 160 hp. Emissions are certified to China 6.
Prices sit close together, from 35,100 to 37,900 yuan, with the whole spread contained inside a couple of thousand yuan. The series has been built since 2008 and is still in production; 14,864 cars were sold in China over the past 12 months.
