Unlike the long-wheelbase C L sedan built locally (Beijing-Benz), this is an imported line-up on the W205 platform: the two-door coupe (C205) and the C-Class T estate (S205). Stock features petrol versions from the 2017–2023 model years — a 1.5-litre turbo engine with the EQ Boost system (184 hp) and the 2.0-litre turbocharged C 300 (258 hp), with rear-wheel drive or 4MATIC all-wheel drive. All engines are paired with the 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic. Since even the base version makes 184 hp, the reduced recycling-fee rate for an individual does not apply to these cars — the calculation uses the commercial rate.
