Kia K3 · 3rd generation (BD body), Chinese facelifts 2021/2023 (Chinese production from 2019).

The Kia K3 (起亚K3) is a compact C-class sedan from the Dongfeng Yueda Kia joint venture, the global equivalent of the Kia Forte/Cerato (BD body, 3rd generation). It is aimed at the mass Chinese buyer: young families and those who value economy and inexpensive ownership. Our stock is the 2021款 versions with a naturally aspirated 1.5L engine (115 hp, 144 Nm) and a CVT (8-speed simulation), front-wheel drive; the declared NEDC consumption is about 5.4 L/100 km. The car has a Chinese front-end design with a large "tiger nose" grille, an extended 2700 mm wheelbase, LED lighting, a 10.25-inch central multimedia screen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The generation lineup also includes a more powerful 1.4T version (130-140 hp, 7-DCT), but our stock has only the 1.5L. It is important not to confuse this Chinese K3 with the new subcompact Kia K3 (BL7) for Latin America - these are different cars. With the 1.5L engine (115 hp) the car comfortably passes the Russian recycling-fee relief for private individuals importing "for personal use" (threshold ≤160 hp) with a large margin.
