Karry Jiangtun江豚

The Jiangtun is an electric microvan sold by Karry on the Chinese domestic market. A single motor sits at the rear and drives the rear wheels, and there is no conventional gearbox — a single-speed reducer takes its place.

Output is identical across the range at 60 kW, or 81 hp, so power is not what separates one version from another. What changes is the traction battery, from 38.6 to 41.9 kWh, and the quoted range, from 276 to 285 km. The price list holds 11 versions in total.

The body is long and tall: 4,746 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,965 mm high, on a wheelbase of 3,050 mm. A wheelbase of that length under a body of this size leaves short overhangs, so almost the whole vehicle works for interior volume. There are two seats and the rest of the length is given over to cargo space, which puts the vehicle closer to a delivery van than to a family MPV.

Factory prices run from 133,800 to 162,800 yuan. The series has been built since 2022 and remains in production; sales in China over the past 12 months came to 20,981 vehicles.

Against the 58.84 kW line, the equivalent of 80 hp, the range as a whole sits on the upper side, with nothing below it.
