Ford Escape锐际

The Ford Escape is a compact crossover built in China by Changan Ford. There is no electric version in the range: every car comes with a combustion engine, and the cabin seats 5.

A single engine covers the series: 1,999 cc, that is 2.0 litres, rated at 182 kW, or about 247 hp. There is one transmission as well, an 8-speed automatic, and the emissions rating recorded for the series is China 6.

Mechanically the price list is separated by drive layout, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive; the rest repeats from version to version.

One body serves every version: 4,585 mm long, 1,882 mm wide and 1,688 mm tall, on a 2,710 mm wheelbase.

Factory prices run from 169,800 to 221,800 yuan across 14 versions. The car has been built since 2020, and sales in China over the past 12 months came to 3,515 cars. Measured against the 117.68 kW mark, the figure that equals 160 hp, the range does not split: the only engine is stronger than that, so all 14 versions sit on the upper side.
