BYD Sealion 07 DM-i海狮07 DM-i

The Sealion 07 DM-i is a large BYD crossover with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and all-wheel drive from two electric motors, sold on the Chinese domestic market. Its production run was confined to 2025.

All 3 versions share the same hardware: a 1,498 cc combustion engine rated at 115 kW, or 156 hp, a CVT and a 26.6 kWh battery, with China-6 as the emission standard. Nothing on that list changes from one version to the next, and even electric range moves only a little, from 135 to 150 km.

The body is common to the line as well and does not change in size: 4,880 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,750 mm tall, on a 2,820 mm wheelbase, with seating for 5.

Factory prices run from 169,800 to 205,800 yuan, so with identical mechanicals the gap between versions comes down to equipment rather than output. All 3 stay below the 117.68 kW threshold, equal to 160 hp, which follows from the shared engine. For a buyer the practical choice is trim level and that small step in range. Chinese sales over the past 12 months came to 3,869 cars.
