领汇 e5

The e5 is a compact electric sedan assembled by BYD for the Chinese domestic market. Its hardware is common to the whole range, so the versions are separated by equipment rather than by output or driving range.

On sale since 2026. All five versions share the same hardware: a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor driving the front wheels through a single-speed reducer instead of a gearbox. The battery is common to the range as well, at 57.6 kWh, with a claimed 530 km of driving range.

For a compact-class car the body is fairly big: 4,805 mm long on a 2,718 mm wheelbase. Width is 1,837 mm and height 1,530 mm, the proportions of a low sedan rather than a raised hatchback. The cabin seats five.

Factory prices start at 95,800 yuan and reach 130,800 yuan. With the motor, the battery and the quoted range identical across the line, the gap between the cheapest and the dearest version falls on equipment rather than on mechanicals.
