Aion AION i60

The AION i60 is a compact crossover assembled by GAC Aion for the Chinese domestic market. It comes in two distinct forms, fully electric and series hybrid, so the choice a buyer makes is a choice of powertrain type rather than of equipment level.

Every version drives through a single-speed reducer instead of a conventional gearbox, and all of them send power to the front wheels. Electric output spans a narrow band, 150 to 180 kW, which works out at roughly 204 to 245 hp. Hybrid versions add a 1,498 cc combustion engine of about 1.5 litres, certified to the China 6 standard.

Battery sizes vary far more: 29.2 kWh at the bottom of the range and 75.3 kWh at the top, with quoted range running from 210 to 650 km. The body is shared across the series, 4,685 mm long and 1,660 mm tall on a 2,775 mm wheelbase, while width differs by version and measures either 1,854 or 1,876 mm. Seating is for 5 in every case.

The factory price list holds 12 versions and runs from 102,800 to 135,800 yuan. The series has been in production since 2026. Measured against the 58.84 kW threshold, the whole line-up sits above it, and not one of the 12 versions falls below. Chinese sales over 12 months came to 69,820 cars.
