Haval Chitu · 1st generation (debuted February 2021, successor to the Haval F5; 2022 model-year trim lineup 黄铜兔/紫铜兔)

The Haval Chitu (哈弗赤兎, "red hare") is a compact urban crossover from Great Wall Motor, produced in China from February 2021 as the successor to the Haval F5 and aimed at the young buyer: a bold "hare" front-end design with a hexagonal grille, LED lighting, a large media screen and 5 seats. Our stock is the 2022 model-year version (劲享版) with a gasoline 1.5T turbo engine (GW4G15K, 110 kW / 150 hp, 220 Nm), a 7-speed "wet" dual-clutch (7-DCT) and front-wheel drive; dimensions 4470x1898x1625 mm with a 2700 mm wheelbase. The lineup also had a more powerful 1.5T version at 135 kW (184 hp, GW4B15C engine) and a 1.5L DHT hybrid (王者兎, ~190 hp), which we do not have in stock. Contrary to popular belief, the model is not purely Chinese: for export it is supplied as the Haval Jolion Pro (in Australia and New Zealand as the Jolion Hybrid), and in Iran it is assembled as the IKCO Cheval 2. For the Russian recycling-fee relief it is important: our gasoline 150 hp version (the dealer catalog lists 143 hp) fits within the ≤160 hp threshold and passes the reduced recycling-fee rate for a private individual importing "for personal use," whereas the 184 hp version does not.
