Bestune B70

The B70 is a mid-size sedan from FAW Bestune that Chinese price lists have carried since 2006. Over the past 12 months it accounted for 5,261 sales inside the country.

Every version runs an internal combustion engine, and the price list holds two displacements — 1,498 and 1,989 cc, roughly 1.5 and 2.0 litres. Output across the range spans 124 to 165 kW, or 169 to 224 hp, emissions are certified to the China 6 standard, and no electric or hybrid version is offered.

Three transmissions appear in the range: a plain automatic, an automatic with 6 speeds and a wet dual-clutch transmission with 7 speeds. Front-wheel drive is the only layout on offer.

Length changes with the version, from 4,810 to 4,855 mm, while width and height stay the same throughout at 1,840 and 1,455 mm. The wheelbase is 2,800 mm on all versions and the cabin seats 5.

Factory prices sit between 98,800 and 145,900 yuan. Measured by output, all 38 versions are above the 117.68 kW (160 hp) mark, and none falls below it.
