Avatr 12

The Avatr 12 is an executive-class sedan built for the Chinese market since 2023. Its price list is a branched one: 40 versions, some fully electric and some range-extender hybrids.

The output spread inside this single model is unusually wide: from 230 kW (312 hp) to 712 kW (968 hp). Three drive layouts are offered — rear-wheel drive with a rear-mounted motor, all-wheel drive with two electric motors, and all-wheel drive with three. All versions use a single-speed reduction gear, and the hybrids add a combustion engine of 1,497 cc, about 1.5 litres, to the China 6 emission standard.

Battery capacity runs from 39.1 to 98.1 kWh and the claimed driving range from 245 to 755 km. Cabins come with 4 or 5 seats. By output, the whole line-up stays above the 58.84 kW mark.

The body is 5,020 mm long and 1,999 mm wide, on a 3,020 mm wheelbase, with height between 1,450 and 1,470 mm. Factory prices stretch from 265,800 to 700,000 yuan, which puts the top of the list in an entirely different money bracket from its bottom. Over the past 12 months 14,007 cars were sold in China.
